Our Story
LEDlas: Illuminating the Future of Laser Technology

LEDlas, a pioneering force in the field of laser technology, was born from the fertile ground of academic research and entrepreneurial spirit. Founded in August 2024, the company emerged from the esteemed HOPE Laboratory at National Tsing Hua University, Taiwan.

Our journey began with a groundbreaking project funded by the National Science and Technology Council (NSTC) Germination Program. Led by the visionary Professor Yen-Chieh Huang, a luminary with over 30 years of experience in laser research, our team dedicated years to developing and refining an innovative LED-pumped gain module.

This revolutionary module offers unprecedented performance, combining high output energy with exceptional stability and longevity at a fraction of the traditional maintenance cost. Initially focused on the 1064 nm wavelength, our product line has expanded to encompass a range of associated wavelengths, enabling us to cater to a wide array of applications.

With the strong foundation laid by our gain module, LEDlas has ventured into new frontiers. We have successfully developed long-range finders capable of detecting targets up to 2 kilometers away, as well as advanced LiDAR systems with applications in security, defense, and space exploration. Our CEO, Dr. Lin, a seasoned veteran in the LiDAR field with over 30 years of experience, has played a pivotal role in driving these ambitious projects.
